Creating a saturation function model
The first step of the Saturation Function Modeling workflow (model > Saturation > Saturation Function Modeling > Create Model) enables you to create a new model, or activate an existing one to review or modify it.
Saturation function models can only be accessed via the Function model drop-down list in any of the forms of the Saturation Function Modeling workflow.

You can duplicate, rename, or delete your existing saturation function models via the toolbar on this form.

Duplicates the currently selected model in the drop-down list (i.e., the active model). |

Opens the Rename dialog, where a new name can be given to the active model. |

Deletes the active model. |
Important
Saturation function models can only be deleted using the
Delete option on the Create Saturation Function Model form.
To create a new model
- On the Create Model form, select
Create new from the drop-down list. - Type in a name in the adjacent field.
- Click Apply to create the model and keep the form open, or click OK to create the model and proceed to the Rock Properties form.
To activate an existing model
You can set an existing model as default, so that it is automatically selected when you open any of the forms within the workflow.
- On the Create Model form, select the model of interest from the drop-down list.
- Click Apply to activate the model.
- Close the form, or click Next to proceed to the Rock Properties form.
